About Me

I was born and raised in Connecticut. I graduated from the Hopkins School, a private college preparatory school in New Haven. I earned an SB in Computer Science and Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and an MBA in International Business and Marketing from the University of Southern California. I completed a Certificate in College Counseling, awarded with distinction, from UCLA Extension. 

Prior to working in college admissions, the majority of my professional career involved the implementation and support of manufacturing systems for semiconductor companies. I was based in Bangkok, Thailand for over 10 years, while consulting on IT projects in Southeast Asia. While in Thailand, I also taught English part-time. I decided to transition to educational consulting because I enjoy working in the education field and helping students in their pursuit of higher education.

I regularly attend counselor conferences, webinars, and presentations. Each year, I also tour around 20 college campuses. This continued education is important in the ever-changing nature of college admissions.

I am a Community Coordinator and Education Abroad Committee Member for the Higher Education Consultants Association (HECA) and Global Committee Member for the Independent Educational Consultants Association (IECA).  I am active in the local MIT and USC alumni communities, recently serving as President of the USC Alumni Club of Silicon Valley.
